About

Shoot at zombies on a screen with a cardboard gun! Then get your picture taken at the end!

he game takes places in real life, using the user's webcam to display the user and their background. Once past the intro screen, three zombies appear at random and the player has three tries to eliminate them, aiming with the cardboard gun.  Once the player runs out of bullets, a picture is taken with the final score and shown in a Polaroid

Code wise, the game uses p5 to run and show the game. The gun is connected through p5's serial library using an Arduino that has a button and an LED wired to it. The gun is made entirely of cardboard with the Arduino encased in it with a USB cable running out of the butt of the gun. The code uses a color tracker introduced in class to track the LED and uses a crosshair to show where the code considers to be the center of the LED. The crosshair is especially important on the start screen which prompts the player to "insert a coin" since the code is tracking the gun but the player cannot seem themselves.

drew heavily from the idea of arcade games and the idea of shared experiences. A greater vision of the game would use the same tracking system of current shooter arcade games and would physically print the picture instead of simply displaying it on screen.
